Procrastination

We all go through it. We all deal with it. We all do it in some form or another.
I am, of course, talking about procrastination. You know I am talking about you, and me, and him, and them. We all find some way to delay doing something that we don't really want to do but know has to be done. I'll boggle your mind even more and say that you could really want to do it but you don't want to do it right now. You know you don't want to clean the kitchen, but it needs to be done. You know you would rather put your feet up and open a book and read. Escapism can be a great thing. Every one wants to do it because it would be easier, but most everyone also realizes that escaping or procrastinating just delays the inevitable and puts you off course. It's always easier to take the easy way out (pardon the pun), however, you never can learn what you need to, or take knowledge away from an experience you are supposed to have if you wait. It all comes down to what you want out of life. Are you a person who wants to learn every lesson life can give you? Or are you someone who finds joy in the simple things and will learn lessons as you experience whatever you want whenever you want?
I am not sure which area I fall into. As a matter of fact, I could be procrastinating right now. I am sure there are other things that need to be done, but I am doing this because it's one of many things that I need to do. Do I want to do it, well, the jury is still deliberating, I'll have to get back to you on that one.
